I yelped a trustworthy shop in the SLO area and ended up at another shop, but they did not work on VW's. They recommended 3 other shops in the area... I asked "if your daughter were in SLO on her own, were would you send her?" the answer was "Morin Brothers, no question". Quick diagnosis, quickly got the necessary part, fair price.
