Was disappointing, in that I had taken off work to come pick up my car, which was ready the day before. I immediately felt my heart sink when after all that work, it wouldn't start, but I got some help, we squirted some starting fluid into the carb and it came to life. So, I took off, and got as far as Shell Beach and had to turn around and come back,bc, it wasn't running right. Back at the shop Jessee found a mechanic to have a look right away and he discovered some junk clogging the idle jet and a very dirty gas filter,so, he cleaned and replaced. Now after 3 hours of messing around I was readsy to go and I got halfway down Tank Farm road and had to come back. Still not running right. So, I had to leave it for Michael to sort out come Monday morning.
What Ray doesn't mention is that his car is a '59 Autobianchina that hadn't run in more than 20 years. Of course we hope to provide a good experience to all who come to Morin Brothers, but there are limitations to our magic!
